WWDC 2010 for iPad
Today was a sad day for the iPad community. We had high hopes going into the WWDC but Steve Jobs let us down. Todays focus was definitely for the new iPhone, but not all was lost. There were a few enhancements announced for the iPad. The iBooks app was the only thing announced that would receive improvements in the iPhone OS 4.0 (IOS 4) that we have not already seen.  These improvements include the ability to take notes, bookmarks, and import PDFs as books into the iBook app. We can only hope that Apple will announce more features for the iPhone OS 4.0(IOS 4) regarding the iPad this fall when it comes out.

WiFi Syncing
Jailbreak Only: WiFi syncing is available now for the iPad.  This app was originally submitted to Apple, but then it was rejected due to what they called "security issues". I really don't believe it was due to security issues...more to Apple's lack of developing. This is why it's only available for jail broken iPads. At first this app was only available for iPhone and iPod Touches, but it has recently been updated to support the iPad. This app costs $10 and allows you to wirelessly sync your iPad to your iTunes. To install this app, please open Cydia and search for "Wi-Fi sync" exactly how I spell it.

New Ad: What is Newton iPad
Apple released new iPad ad to helps explain to people why they ever would want an iPad. The ad is very similar to a commercial from Apple back in the 90’s for the Newton. Both videos in the article.

It looks as  the iPhone dev team has done it again, they just released a small app called spirit that allows any iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch user running 3.1.2, 3.1.3 or 3.2 to jailbreak their device. If you never have  jail-broken a device before please be cautious when doing so, as the dev team stated ....

4.0 Firmware
Today Apple held an event to take a sneak peek at their iPhone 4.0firmware.  Many things were revealed that the iPad already have such as Bluetooth support for keyboards, iBooks, customized home screen and others.  There are a few things that Apple has revealed that will be also available for the iPad in the fall are multitasking enterprise support and the ability to make folders to organize your apps. Apple will be releasing this firmware to iPhone and iPod touch users this summer and to iPad users in fall. If you have a moment I suggest watching the keynote at the link below this article.
